Tigers happy to be back in ‘second home’ India

After completing the warm-up phase of their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign, Bangladesh have now landed in Dharamsala for their opening match of the tournament against Afghanistan on October 7, Saturday.
But before the tournament begins, the Bangladesh squad had their customary official photo session a few days ago.
The ICC had released the pictures of the photoshoot on its social media pages on Sunday. And on the following day this week, ICC released a behind-the-scenes video, sharing the shenanigans that took place during the shoot.
Left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed went up to his teammates with a mic in hand, asking them questions about how they were feeling about being in India for the World Cup.
Veteran Mahmudullah said that India is like a second home to the Bangladesh cricketers as the similarities in cuisine serve as a warm reminder of how things are back home.
"India is like a second home to us. The food, especially the butter chicken, is really nice. The tea here is absolutely wonderful. It's good to be back here," said Mahmudullah.
Mehedi Hasan Miraz, who hit a couple of fifties in the warm-up phase, also held similar sentiments towards India.
"Definitely, I feel good (to be in India). Because we have been here so many times before. And we have played lots of matches in India. So, I'm happy," he said.
