Singapore, Malaysia confirmed
Singapore and Malaysia have officially confirmed their participation in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Football Tournament, said a Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) official yesterday.
The game's governing body is working with two slots – from December 27 to January 5 and January 17 to 28 – to host the tournament which will feature six teams -- Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Bahrain, Laos and hosts Bangladesh.
Singapore football federation has given its consent over the first schedule while Malaysia is available for both the slots.
“We have sent two schedules to the teams along with the invitation and there is a strong possibility to stage the tournament on the first slot as both Singapore and Malaysia have agreed to participate during that time period,” said BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag.
