Veteran actor Abul Hayat and '90s popular actress Richi Solaiman united for the first time in a touching Father's Day special music video titled "Baba, Shunte ki Pao?" (Father, can you hear?). The emotionally resonant track is directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, known for her sensitive storytelling and visual flair.

The song has been composed by Prantik Sur and sung by US-based ghazal singer Shirin Chowdhury, who also penned the lyrics herself. With a narrative built around the lyrics, the video unfolds a story of love, sacrifice, and unspoken dreams between a father and his daughter.

Abul Hayat plays the father—a role that showcases his signature subtlety and depth—while Richi Solaiman portrays the daughter, bringing tenderness and nuance to the performance. The video also includes actor Humayun Chowdhury in a supporting role.

Director Chayanika Chowdhury shared insights into the inspiration behind the project, "We've tried to deliver a beautiful social message through this music video. After marriage, a woman's dreams shouldn't die. It's a father's heartfelt plea—not just to love the person she marries, but to love her dreams too."

Despite recent health challenges, Abul Hayat agreed to participate, moved by the story. "Hayat uncle wasn't keeping well, but he gave me his time because he believed in the message," Chayanika said. "Richi, too, approached the project with sincere enthusiasm. I truly believe this video will move and inspire audiences."

"Baba, Shunte ki Pao?" will be released on Father's Day, June 15, under the Singistic banner on their official YouTube channel.
