Probe body quizzes 7 polling agents

Members of the probe committee formed by KMP Commissioner Helaluddin Badri on August 11 quizzed seven polling agents yesterday in connection with recovery of counterfoils of ballots and unused ballot papers.
The polling agents were deployed in Polling Centre No 8 of Ward No 2.
On August 11 midnight, the counterfoils of ballots and unused ballot papers were remained abandoned in front of Udayan Club of Ward No 29 under Khulna Sadar Police Station.
The probe committee has summoned three councillor candidates and two polling officers to face interrogation tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Head of the committee AC Abu Sayem has applied to the KMP commissioner seeking more three days to complete investigation and submit its report.
