Bangladesh boosted by Tariq’s return against Kuwait

Center-back Tariq Kazi returned to Bangladesh playing eleven as the men in red and green take on a formidable Kuwait in their semifinals fixture of the SAFF Championship at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru today.
The match begins at 3:30pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).
With Tariq's return, head coach Javier Cabrera gets to feature his first-choice backline. Consequently, Rahmat Mia sits out. The remaining line-up is unchanged from the one that played Bhutan.
Tariq, who picked up a shin injury soon after giving Bangladesh a lead against Maldives on June 25, went through four days of rest before training on Friday.
192-ranked Bangladesh will be playing 143-ranked Kuwait for the first time in 36 years in their third-ever fixture.
