Bangladesh, Japan to exchange startups

Bangladesh and Japan will exchange startups to develop a startup culture in the country.
The decision was taken at a meeting between Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for ICT, and Iwama Kiminori, Japanese ambassador to Bangladesh, at the ICT Tower in Dhaka yesterday.
They agreed on the exchange for a total of 50 startups -- 25 startups from Bangladesh and 25 startups from Japan, according to a statement.
In the meeting, Palak proposed to initiate Japan-Bangladesh IT Summit and build a Japan-Bangladesh IT University.
