Women's squad named
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) yesterday announced the squad for the upcoming women's home series against Pakistan, which will comprise of four T20Is and a lone ODI.
Salma Khatun will lead the ambush for the T20I series, which begins on October 2, while Rumana Ahmed is set to captain the Tigresses for the solitary one-dayer on October 8. The entire series will take place in Cox's Bazaar.
Pakistan arrived in Bangladesh yesterday and both teams have already reached the seaside city.
Bangladesh have just concluded a training camp in Rajshahi as the series is being considered as preparation in the lead up to the ICC World T20 in the West Indies in November this year.
The Tigresses have been in terrific form ever since they clinched the ACC Asia Cup in June in Malaysia, before going on to win a series against the Netherlands and also becoming the ICC World T20 qualifier champions in July.
