7 BNP leaders to be grilled at jail gate
Two Dhaka courts rejected bail petitions of seven BNP leaders including barrister Moudud Ahmed and sent them to jail today in four cases.
However, the courts allowed police to interrogate them at the jail gate within seven days.
The other BNP leaders are: MK Anwar, Sadeque Hossain Khoka, barristers Rafiqul Islam Miah, Mahbubuddin Khokon, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's adviser Abdul Awal Mintoo and her special assistant Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas.

Metropolitan Magistrate Mizanur Rahman allowed police to quiz the BNP leaders except Khoka after rejecting their remand prayers for 27 days in the three cases.
Of the cases, one was filed for killing sub-inspector Md Shahjahan during a clash between law enforcers and Hefajat men in the capital on May 5 last year.
The two others cases were lodged for vandalising and torching public properties and vehicles and attacking police on the same day.
The BNP leaders were shown arrested in the cases on January 2.
Meanwhile, Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Kumar Dey asked police to interrogate Khoka in Reshma murder case filed with Mohammadpur Police Station on October 26, last year.
