Boy burnt to death

A boy was burnt to death and six houses were gutted in a fire at a slum in Kaptai Rastar Matha area of Hathazari upazila in Chittagong yesterday noon.
The boy Md Mizan, 6, died instantly.
Fire brigade sources said the fire originated from a stove spread to adjoining houses.
Two units from Kalurghat Fire Station doused the blaze.
Meanwhile, a fire originated from a stove damaged four houses in the port city's Patenga beach area yesterday morning.
