Schoolboy hurt in Ctg blast
A seven-year-old schoolboy was injured as a crude bomb exploded in Chittagong city on the fourth day of the BNP-led 18-party opposition's countrywide blockade today.
Minhaj Hossain Belal is a class one student of Abdul Ali Government Primary School located on Saraipara Biswa Road, reports our Chittagong correspondent.
Belal, who sustained splinter injuries in his left eye, is now undergoing treatment at the eye care ward of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital, victim's father Momtaz Miah told The Daily Star.
Momtaz said Belal went to play with his friends on Biswa Road on returning home from school around 10:30am.
All on a sudden, the handmade bomb exploded, the father said adding that the left eye of Belal was badly injured in the blast.
