Fair election will be held under Election Commission: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said fair elections will be held in the country under the Election Commission.

Issuing a warning to BNP, Obaidul, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said, "If there is any chaos, Awami League leaders and activists along with people of the country will resist you. Awami League leaders and activists have not left the field."

Quader made the remarks while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the triennial conference of Dinajpur district unit of AL as chief guest.

AL Presidium Member Ramesh Chandra Sen, MP; Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, MP, and also joint general secretary of AL; and AL presidium member and former minister Shajahan Khan was present as the conference.
