Prof Imran Rahman new VC of ULAB
Prof Imran Rahman has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) for a four-year term with effect from yesterday, said a press release.
Prof Rahman joined ULAB in 2006 as the dean of business and later he served as the VC (2012-2016) and pro-VC (2009-2012).
Prior to joining ULAB, he served IBA, Dhaka University for 28 years, as a finance faculty, chair of the BBA programme and chair of the Computer Center.
He co-founded and led a merchant bank in the 1990s for six years. He studied in Manchester Business School, Dhaka University and the London School of Economics.
