Mirza Abbas in hospital, condition now stable
The health condition of BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas, who was admitted to Evercare Hospital with chest pain last night, is stable today.
BNP Health Secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam confirmed the development to The Daily Star, quoting doctors at the hospital.
Doctors prescribed some tests and further decisions will be taken after getting the reports, he said.
Mirza Abbas' blood pressure was high when he was admitted to Evercare Hospital around 12am today. He was complaining of chest pain since 5pm yesterday.
He was then admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Dr Shahabuddin Talukder.
