Javed Muneer appointed chair of NSU trustee board
Javed Muneer Ahmad has been named the chairman of the Board of Trustees of North South University, effective from July 1.
The appointment comes after Ahmad, along with other members, was appointed to the trustee board on August 16 last year.
During NSU's foundational period prior to 1992 and after, Ahmad played a crucial role in the formation and initial setup of the first private university in Bangladesh, said a press release.
Ahmad expressed his gratitude and emphasised his commitment to following in the footsteps of his father, Muslehuddin Ahmad, NSU founder, VC and a pioneer of private universities in Bangladesh.
Ahmad, the founder managing director of Aprosoft Consulting and Training Corp Ltd, brings over 35 years of experience in the IT industry to his position.
