Two cases filed over attack on Hindu temple, shops in Bandarban
Two cases were filed over attacks on Hindu temple, and vandalism of shops attack on police in Bandarban's Lama upazila on Thursday.
One case was filed by police and another was filed by the president of Lama Central Hari Mondir, reports our local correspondent.
Md Alamgir, inspector (investigation) of Lama Police Station, said, "We have arrested four people in connection with the cases."
Ashraf Hossain, sub-inspector of the police station, filed one of the cases against 48 named and 150-200 unknown people on charge of vandalising shops, attacking police, and obstructing government employees from performing their duty, said the inspector.
Another case was filed against 94 named and 200-250 unidentified people on charge of attacking Lama Central Hari Mondir, he added.
