Missing actress Raima Islam’s body recovered from Keraniganj

Film actress Raima Islam Shimu who went missing a few days ago, was found dead inside a sack near the Hazratpur Bridge in Keraniganj, on the outskirts of the capital, yesterday.

After being informed by locals, a team of Keraniganj Model Police Station recovered the body around 10:00am yesterday, Kazi Ramzanul, inspector (investigation) of the police station told The Daily Star.

The body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College morgue for an autopsy, said the inspector.

Earlier, a general diary was filed at Kalabagan Police Station in the capital after the 45-year-old actress went missing, said the police official.
