Demise of Justice Shahabuddin: All judicial functions of SC remain suspended tomorrow

Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique has suspended all judicial functions of the Appellate and High Court Divisions of the Supreme Court for tomorrow (Sunday), showing respect to former Chief Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed.

The SC administration issued a notification to this effect today.

Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed breathed his last at Combined Military Hospital this morning at the age of 92.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held at National Eidgah Filed on the Supreme Court premises at 10am tomorrow (Sunday) morning, according to the notification.
