Ride-sharing biker, pillion passenger dead in accident near Dhaka airport

Two persons died after an unidentified vehicle hit the motorcycle they were on near Dhaka airport early today.
The deceased were identified as Rafiqul Islam Suman (40), a ride sharing biker, and Kajol Akhter (35), the pillion rider.
The duo died on the spot after a vehicle hit the motorcycle -- on their way to Khilkhet -- around 3:00am. The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Sub-inspector Jewel Mia of Airport Police Station.
Police are trying to identify the vehicle that hit them, he said.
Hailing from Pirojpur district, Suman used to live with wife and three daughters in Tantibazar area. Alongside runninging a small business, he used to work as ride-sharing biker, said his cousin Fuhad Hasan.
Kajol and her three children used to live with her mother in Khilgaon area. She used to work at a restaurant, her mother Hasina Begum said.
