Acquire knowledge, professional acumen
The Graduation Certificate Award Ceremony of No 52 and 53 Officers course was held at Bangladesh Air Force Academy auditorium at BAF Base Matiur Rahman in Jessore yesterday, says an ISPR press release.
Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal SM Ziaur Rahman attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed the certificates among the officers.
In No 52 Officers Course a total of 20 officers participated in the examination. Of them 15 officers passed in first division and 5 officers passed in second division.
In No 53 Officers Course a total of 33 officers participated in the examination. Of them 31 officers passed in first division and 2 officers passed in second division. All of them completed their three years' graduation course under the National University during their two years training at BAF Academy.
Speaking on the occasion air chief said, "You must acquire knowledge and professional acumen so that you can lead our beloved air force to the path of glorious success." He firmly believed that these officers would carry forward the flag of BAF to higher heights in coming days. He further said that there is no alternative of enhancing professionalism through time-befitting knowledge and appropriate training.
Jessore Area Commander and General Officer Commanding of 55 Infantry Division Major General Md Rafiqul Islam, Principal Staff Officers of BAF Headquarters, Vice-Chancellor of the National University Prof Dr Wakil Ahmed and senior BAF officers were also present on the occasion.
