Three killed in road accidents

Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Narsingdi and Chapainawabganj yesterday.
A correspondent in Narsingdi reports: Two people were killed in a road accident at Chaitab in Narsingdi sadar upazila yesterday.
The dead were identified as Babul Miah and Salahuddin, 23.
Sources said the accident occurred when a pick up van ran over their motorcycle, leaving Babul dead on the spot and Salahuddin injured. Salahuddin died on the way to hospital.
Our correspondent in Chapainawabganj adds: One person was killed and two others were injured in a road accident at Kollayanpur in Chapainawabganj yesterday.
The dead is identified as Alauddin, 18, son of Amin Ali.
Police said the accident occurred when a Rohanpur-bound passenger bus fell into a road side ditch as its driver lost control over the steering around 8:30am, leaving Alauddin dead on the spot.
