Police in separate raids arrested 1,261 people on various charges from different parts of the country in last 24 hours as of 6:00am yesterday.
Four firearms and 19 rounds of bullet were also recovered during the countrywide drive, said a release of police headquarters.
Besides, 67 motorcycles without valid documents were seized during the period and 370 cases filed under Motor Vehicles Act.
