BB gets new executive director

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has recently promoted Md Mahabubul Islam to executive director, according to a press statement.
Islam had earlier worked for the central bank's Foreign Exchange Inspection and Vigilance Department as general manager.
Islam joined the central bank in 1976 as assistant director.
