Reckless driving hurts RU student

Reckless motorcycling of a Rajshahi University unit Bangladesh Chhatra League leader left a female student critically injured yesterday.
The victim, Nilufar Yeasmin, a fourth year student of management studies department, was taken to Rajshahi University medical centre.
Witnesses said Suranjit Prasad Bitto, relief and disaster management affairs secretary of RU BCL unit, was driving the motorcycle recklessly. At one stage, Suranjit lost control of the vehicle and he and co-rider Sudipto fell off the motorcycle, which skid along the road and hit Nilufar. The two BCL leaders also received minor injuries.
