Recognition of Palestinian state

We congratulate Brazilian President Lula da Silva from the core of our heart for according recognition to Palestinian state based on borders at the time of Israel's conquest of the West Bank in 1967.
Over six decades have passed so far, but excepting discussions and negotiations with Israel, the USA is doing nothing for the suppressed and oppressed people of Palestine. We wonder if Brazil with her own conscience, courage and morality can recognise the state of Palestine, why the USA fails to do so.
If Washington is scared of the Frankeniestin it has created, the USA may seek help and assistance from the UN to tame and civilise Israel. Meanwhile, we would request our government and other countries to follow the footstep of Brazil for the cause of human rights, freedom and democracy.
