Madrasa girl commits 'suicide'

A madrasa girl allegedly committed suicide at Gajipur village under Benapole Port Police Station on Friday night.
The deceased is Sundari, 15, daughter of Ismail Hossain of Pathbari village.
She was the student of Class VIII at Benapole Gazipur Madinatul Ulum Madrasa.
As Sundari did not respond despite repeated knocks, her mother broke open the door and found her hanging from the ceiling of her room, said family sources.
On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Jessore Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy, said victim's mother Sokina Begum.
Police were investigating the incident, said Apurba Hasan, officer in-charge of the PS.
