Is quality education being assured?

The 2.47 percent passing rate in DU admission test of Cha unit has surprised us a lot, since the students passed in HSC exams with a healthy passing rate of nearly 75 percent along with a recorded amount of GPA 5 this year. Though the question pattern of the DU entry test is slightly different from the HSC exams, it is very hard to believe that 90 percent of them can't pass the DU entry test. 

It raises the question of whether quality education is being provided in the nation or not. The healthy passing rate and recorded amounts of GPA 5 may not be the only indicators of quality education. We'll know that the students are truly learning when they can produce good results in other settings as well.
