Tahsan buys burnt lungi for BDT one lakh

Tahsan Khan has always been concerned about lending his hand towards people in crisis. After the fire broke down in the biggest retail clothing market of Dhaka, Bangabazar, it devastated the dreams of many shopkeepers who lost assets worth around hundred crores of taka, that too before Eid-al-Fitr.

The singer-turned-actor came forward and took the initiative to help the small businessmen who were victims of the fire. Tahsan bought a burnt lungi for Tk 1 lakh, which was confirmed by Bidyanondo Foundation.

Earlier in 2020, the actor donated his musical memorabilia in a Facebook Live auction, which gathered Tk 7.5 lakh for Covid-19 victims.

Bidyanondo Foundation took to its official Facebook page to share the news. The organisation also informed that they took the initiative of collecting donations of up to Tk 1 crore, and giving the amount to the aggrieved sellers.
