Court orders to seize Nur’s movable wealth
A Narayanganj court today asked police to seize all movable wealth of Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the sensational Narayanganj seven murder cases.
Senior judicial magistrate KM Mohiuddin passed the order following a petition of investigation officer of the murder cases, reports our Narayanganj correspondent.
Police will take necessary steps to seize the movable properties of Nur Hossain tomorrow, court sources said.
On April 27, Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam and his four aides and senior lawyer Chandan Sarker and his driver were kidnapped from the Dhaka-Narayanganj link road at around the same time in broad daylight.
Six bodies, including that of Nazrul and Chandan, were found floating in the Shitalakkhya river on April 30, and another was found the following day.
Shahidul Islam, father-in-law of slain Narayanganj Nazrul alleged that Col Ziaul Ahsan, additional director general of the Rapid Action Battalion, helped Nur Hossain flee to Kolkata.
