Woman found murdered

The body of a middle-aged woman was found in a bamboo cluster at Barashashi Mahishbathan village in Boda upazila of Panchagarh yesterday.    

The victim was Rahima Khatun, 50, wife of late Taslim Uddin of Naotari Pramanikpara village. She used to work as house-help in different houses in the area.

Boda Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Nurul Islam said she was murdered and dumped in the bamboo cluster after packing the body in a sack. Several injury marks were found on the face and other parts of the body. The clue of the murder is yet to be revealed, he added.
