Unidentified people sued for Pabna triple murder
A case was filed against unidentified people on charge of killing two women and son of one of them in Bera upazila under the district while the prime suspect, brother of the victim man, went into hiding soon after the brutal incident on Wednesday.
The brutal triple murder by a family member sparked outrage among locals.
Police, however, said they cannot confirm anything before investigating the matter
Meanwhile, Bera police released the wife of the suspected killer after taking her statement yesterday.
On Wednesday, suspect Tuhin, 22, killed his mother Buly Khatun, 48, younger brother Tushar, 10, and aunt Mariam Begum, 50, when they were asleep, according to the statement of Runa Akter, wife of the suspect. He went into hiding soon after the incident.
Md Mizanur Rahman, brother of Buly and Mariam, filed the case with Bera Police Station yesterday.
Asked about filing of the case against anonymous people, Md Mozaffar Hossain, officer-in-charge of the police station, said, “Tuhin is prime suspect but it does not mean that no other was involved with the incident. We are trying to find out the real culprits behind the brutal killings.”
Police are raiding different areas to arrest Tuhin, said the official.
