Lawmen today detained six Myanmar nationals with three lakh contraband yaba tablets from a fish boat in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar.

The identities of the detainees could not be knownimmediately.

On information, Bangladesh Coast Guard intercepted the boat from the sea near Chhera Dwip around 01:00pm and seized the yaba tablets worth 15 crore, said Tejnaf Station’s Lieutenant Commander Fayzul Islam Mondal.

The detainees were handed over to Teknaf Police Station later.
