Three found dead in 2 dists

Three people were found dead in Dinajpur and Jashore yesterday.

In two separate incidents in Dinajpur’s Biral upazila, a teenage girl and an elderly man were found dead. 

Family members of ninth grader Jui, 14, daughter of Azizur Rahman from Balapukur village in Biral Municipality, found her hanging from the ceiling of living room in her house in the morning, reports our correspondent in Dinajpur, quoting her family members.

In Bishwanathpur village of the same upazila, Ashraf Ali, 65, son of late Khamir Uddin, was found hanging from a tree branch yesterday morning.

Both the deceased appeared to have taken their own lives and police sent the bodies to M Abdur Rahim Medical College for autopsy, said ATM Golam Rasul, officer-in-charge of Biral Police Station.

Two cases were filed with the police station in this connection, he added.

Same morning in Jashore town, police found body of a college student in Ghasban area alongside the Bhairab river and sent the body to Jashore General Hospital for autopsy, reports our Benapole correspondent.

Sohag Hossain, 18, son of Habibur Rahman of Mollahpara Amtala area, was a second-year student at Hamidpur Degree College.
