Landslide again in Rangamati, no casualty

A portion of a hill fell down in Rangamati today amid heavy rainfall and fresh fears of landslides.

No one is reported to be injured in the incident, our local correspondent reports quoting police.

A slab of mud fell down from the hill on Rangamati-Chittagong highway around 12:00pm, halting vehicular movement for an hour, Md Abu Musa, sub-assistant engineer of Roads and Highways Department.

The highway was cleared off for vehicular movement around 1:00pm, the engineer said.
