The pass percentage in the examinations of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in Rajshahi Education Board is 71.30 this year.
A total of 5,294 students including 2,355 girls secured GPA-5 among the total passed students in the examination this year.
The board authority announced the results at a press conference in its conference hall here this noon with Dr Anarul Haque Pramanik, Secretary of the board in the chair.
Controller of Examinations Tarun Kumar Sarker gave an overview of the result.
He told the journalists that a total of 1,23,616 students including 54,774 girls appeared in the examinations in 186 centres from 715 educational institutions in eight districts under the education board.
This year, girls (76.1 pc) done better than boys (67.46 pc) but the boys (2,939) done better than girls (2,355) in terms of getting GPA-5.
