Missing 4 Habiganj madrasa students found
A day into the missing of four madrasa students in Habiganj’s Shaistaganj upazila, police found them at a house in Baniachang upazila of the same district this evening.
The law enforcers found them at one of their relative’s house in Balikhal village around 9:30pm, Yasinul Haq, officer-in-charge of Shaistaganj Police Station, told our Moulvibazar correspondent.
“We found them after raiding different areas and took them under our custody,” the police official said adding that they went to visit their relative house without informing anyone.
Shohanur, 12, son of Abdul Awal, Nayan, 12, son of Abdullah Mia, Imtiaz, 12, son of Abdul Ahad and Rafid, 13, son of Ahmed Rashid, left their institution, Nowgaon Hafezia Madrasa, for shopping yesterday, said Mawlana Selim Ahmed, a teacher of the madrasa.
Failing to know their whereabouts, the madrasa authorities filed a general diary with Shaistaganj Police Station, the teacher said.
