Coaching centre gutted

A fire gutted "Three Doctors Medical Admission Coaching Centre" in the capital's Mouchak yesterday.
The fire might have originated from an electric short-circuit at the coaching centre housed on the second floor of the five-storey Lily Plaza, said fire officials who estimated the damage at around Tk 2 lakh.
Fire fighters doused the blaze almost after an hour.
Meanwhile, another fire swept through a cotton warehouse at Merajnagar in Postogola around 1:20pm. The cause of fire could not be known immediately.
