RMG worker 'killed by husband'

A garment worker was allegedly killed by her husband in the capital's Pallabi over a family dispute yesterday.

Deceased Taslima Begum, 32, of Munshiganj Sadar upazila, was found dead at her rented tin-shed house around 10:00am, said OC Dadan Fakir of Pallabi Police Station.

“We are primarily suspecting she was strangulated,” he said.

The family alleged she was murdered by her husband following a family feud. 

The husband, Nur Alam, a rickshaw-puller, has been absconding, said police.
