QK Ahmad Foundation starts journey
QK Ahmad Foundation, a welfare and non-profit organisation, started its journey yesterday.
On its first day, two young entrepreneurs were given honorary crests and cheques for Tk 50,000 each for their contributions to socio-economic development in society.
They are Kaniz Fatema Chanda and Mohammad Ariful Forkan. The inaugural ceremony was held at PKSF Bhaban, said a press release.
Addressing as the chief guest, Deputy Speaker of the parliament Advocate Fazle Rabbi Mian hoped the foundation, named after Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, would play a role in improving backward people's condition.
