Vivekananda Shikkha o Sangskriti Parishad gets new committee
The 20th death anniversary of Prof Mohammed Faruque, former chairman of Bengali department of Jahangirnagar University and Karachi University, will be observed today, says a press release.

Akhil Chandra Bhowmik and Karuna Kishore Chakraborty have been nominated as president and general secretary respectively of the executive committee of Vivekananda Shikkha o Sangskriti Parishad, a social welfare organisation.
Jayanta Kumar Dev, president of the parishad’s governing body, announced a 51-member committee for 2019-2021 during its 26th annual general meeting at Ramkrishna Mission in the capital.
