Orientation held at NSU
The orientation programme of 2019 fall semester for new students was held at North South University (NSU) on Saturday, says a press release.
Around 1,000 students got the opportunity to enrol in the honours programmes under 16 departments of four schools. Thirty-one students were given scholarships for outstanding results in the admission test.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan was present as chief guest and Benajir Ahmed, chairman, Board of Trustees, NSU, as special guest during the orientation ceremony.
Vice Chancellor Prof Atiqul Islam presided over the programme.
Among others, member of NSU Board of Trustees: MA Hashem, MA Kashem, Azim Uddin Ahmed and Yasmin Kamal; pro-Vice Chancellor Dr M Ismail Hossain, and deans of different schools, directors, senior officials, teachers, students, and guardians were also present on the occasion.
