Relieving a headache: We have all experienced a bad headache some time in our lives. Instead of just bearing with it until it goes away, you could try these home remedies.
1. You can have a hot cup of coffee or tea. Caffeine can help ease acute headaches. Don’t get too dependent on it, though, as caffeine withdrawal can produce its own headache.
2. Use a cold pack. It can be an actual pack from the pharmacy or a makeshift one with ice or cold water inside. Keep it on the forehead for 10 to 20 minute.
3. Try taking ginger with your tea or food. There is some evidence that ginger helps relieve headaches and the nausea that sometimes accompanies it.
4. Stay hydrated. Dehydration is a common cause of headaches, and it is a serious problem in this scorching heat.
