Appeal for help
Kamruz-zaman Vashkar, a multiple award winning digital artist and animator who had his work featured in "Meena", was diagnosed with kidney illness in 2012. Through the years, his condition deteriorated, eventually leading him into dialysis in 2017.
Vashkar currently needs dialysis once every three days. The only way that remains for him is to get a costly kidney transplant.
However, to go for a transplant, the cash-strapped artist will need financial assistance from the people he has spent his life entertaining.
A trained sculptor from Dhaka University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Vashkar also worked on "Ant and the Dove", "The Three Gold Coins", "Night of the Pumpkins", "The Pink Diamond Enigma" etc.
Apart from personal contributions, artworks can also be donated to raise funds. For more information, please contact Tarana Halim - 01676992455.
