Admission tests start from Sept
Public universities will start holding admission tests from September.
This year, seven public agricultural universities are going to introduce the uniform admission test, known as “the cluster system”, said a statement of Bangladesh Bishwabidyalaya Parishad, an association of public university vice-chancellors.
The decision came at a meeting held in Dhaka yesterday, where the VCs fixed tentative dates for the admission tests for 2019-20 session.
Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and Patuakhali Science and Technology University hold the single admission test on November 30.
Jahangirnagar University will hold tests between September 22 and October 3; Buet on October 5; Dhaka University on September 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28; and Jagannath University on September 14, 20, 21 and 29. Rajshahi University will hold tests between October 20 and 22; and Chittagong University between October 26 and 31.
