Abdul Mannan passes away

Abdul Mannan, director of Agrani Bank Ltd's board of directors and a former district and sessions judge, died at Square Hospital in Dhaka yesterday. He was 70, says a press release.

He left behind his wife, two sons and a daughter to mourn his death.

The board of directors, all the executives, officers and staffers of the bank prayed for peace and salvation of the departed soul and expressed deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.

A doa mahfil was held after Zohr prayers at Agrani Bank Head Office mosque, seeking divine peace for the deceased.

After his namaz-e-janaza, he was buried at his village home at Kamargaon, Munshiganj.
