Bullets found in woman's body

Cops earlier suspected road accident

The killing of a woman which police suspected a road accident took a mysterious turn as a Dhaka Medical College Hospital forensic doctor recovered two bullets from her body.

Police recovered the body of Rani, aged around 35, a resident of Kuril, from road 43 of Gulshan-2 around 2:00am yesterday, said Rafiqul Islam, assistant commissioner (Gulshan zone) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

Rani, of Jamalpur, a single mother was doing night shifts at her job these days, according to Shahnaz, her sister.

Police are analysing nearby CCTV camera footages for clues.
