Md Rezaul Haque has been re-elected as the chairman of Social Islami Bank for the fifth term of three years, the bank said in a statement yesterday.

He is one of the founders and a sponsor director of the bank and also a director of SIBL Securities, according to the statement.

A freedom fighter, Haque is also the managing trustee of Darul Ihsan University and a sponsor director of United Hospital. He is also the chairman of Little House (Pvt.) Ltd, Active Builders Ltd, Probashi Forum Co-operative Ltd and SIBL Investment Ltd.
