Rejoinder
The Dhaka Stock Exchange sent a rejoinder against a report titled “DSE MD’s recruitment gamed, allege directors” published on the business page on January 12.
In the rejoinder, the DSE said there was no discussion in its board meeting that “the upper level” wanted Kazi Sanaul Hoq, former managing director of the state-run Investment Corporation of Bangladesh, as the MD of the Dhaka bourse, so the board must go for him.
Our reply
We did not mention in the report that the matter was discussed at the DSE’s board meeting. So, we stand by our report.
