A day long art camp was held at the campus of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU) in Trishal, Mymensingh on Thursday, which was jointly organised by the Institute of Nazrul Studies and the Department of Fine Arts.
A total of 28 artistes participated to paint portraits of the maestro.
Nagarbasi Barman, the head of Fine Arts Department, intends to conduct such events yearly, given the success of the first.
Vice chancellor of JKKNIU Prof. Dr. AHM Mustafizur Rahman inaugurated the art camp. Director of the Institute of Nazrul Studies, Rashedul Anam and various faculty members from the Fine Arts Department were present at the event.
