The 4th Tune of Art A platform for aspiring artists
The 4th Tune of Art, an International art festival organised by FOCUS Bangladesh, opened recently at National Art Gallery-2, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Renowned artist Professor Jamal Ahmed inaugurated the show as the chief guest, while artist Md Kauser Hossian, founder of FOCUS Bangladesh, presided over the ceremony. The main purpose of the initiative is to develop a harmony and cultural relations among the artists of various countries and create a platform for the underserved and aspiring artists.
More than 200 artists from over 17 countries, including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Serbia, Pakistan, Turkey, Canada, Iran, Indonesia, Austria, Kosovo, Albania and Italy are participating in the event.
Promising artists have a special opportunity to exhibit their works at the same venue. They are showcasing their creative works on watercolour, acrylic, oil, pen, etching, sculpture and more at the show. For the first time, calligraphy garnered special recognition at the international art festival. The exhibition will conclude on November 12.
