Andrew Kishore returns home
Eight-time National Film Award-winning singer Andrew Kishore is known for evergreen melodies like Jiboner Golpo Achhe Baki Olpo, Dak Diyachhen Doyal Amare, Haire Manush Rongin Fanush, Amar Shara Deho Kheyo Go Mati and Amar Buker Moddhe Khane among others.
He was diagnosed with cancer in September last year. He underwent chemotherapy at Singapore General Hospital. After a nine-month battle, he finally returned to Bangladesh from Singapore on June 11, 2020. He was taken to his residence in Mirpur upon arrival. However, he was soon shifted to Rajshahi and has been in isolation since then, according to his family members.
The coronavirus outbreak has made the artiste's treatment more difficult. His family is worried about his health and provided the fact that he has not been keeping well for a while now, they do not want to take any risks. The Daily Star family wishes the artiste a speedy recovery.
